A capacidade empática da equipe e a execução de projetos em obras civis

A crescente complexidade dos projetos de obras civis exige novas habilidades das equipes. A empatia está surgindo como uma habilidade que favorece a colaboração e a integração das equipes. Este trabalho investiga se a habilidade empática da equipe está relacionada ao desempenho dos projetos em obras civis. O trabalho foi realizado em seis projetos. O método foi misto: na primeira parte, foram aplicadas 148 pesquisas para medir a empatia e, em seguida, foram realizadas 23 entrevistas para medir o desempenho. Como resultado, ficou evidente uma correlação positiva entre as habilidades empáticas da equipe e o desempenho dos projetos. A pesquisa fornece informações sobre os níveis atuais de habilidade empática nas equipes, o que leva à conclusão de que há margem para melhorar o desempenho.
