Abstract

Extensive jurisprudence deals with occupational hazards that affect the daily lives of workers throughout the world, both due to work accidents and occupational diseases, the latter being the most complex to intervene due to the wide range of triggering factors and the need to demonstrate irrefutable way that has to do with occupational risks. The purpose of this text is to demonstrate the documentary and legislative existence that deals with occupational disease and how it is managed by the actors of the occupational risk system in Colombia: workers, employers, and occupational risk administrator, based on the existing literature. For this, the contextualization of this topic addressed aspects of the management of specific situations of occupational disease.
